Day 3 Product Selection

Today is the day I pick my products. I already have a number of products in mind but I want to be absolutely sure that I get at least ONE or TWO products on a bigger list of maybes? Ideally I would find about 10 products you want to look further into and start doing some research on the product and if the sales letter screams “BUY ME” then they’re obviously doing something right. Check reviews, google the products, check their ads and see how their selling. If your using a marketplace like Clickbank or JVZoo they will have their TOP SELLERS listed first. These are the products you want to be promoting, stuff thats already a hot seller.

Since I already had some products I been using for a few years because they were and still are considered to be hot sellers it was a no-brainer for what I should promote and I have a pretty short list.

First off I will promote the platform I am using so I will set up some ads that go to these TWO different links, heres the first link and heres the second link, check them out. Next I will promote any major software that will be VITALLY IMPORTANT to the success of my business. You can see what software I simply cannot run an online business without right here in a FREE book offer. Then promote one or two well used, proven programs/courses that will prove to your customers that you only promote the best in your industry providing the customers EXACTLY what they need to get the result they’re after. Sometimes even just ONE business can provide ALL these things. Heres a great example of such a product. Another great example is the platform I use not only provides a place to host and build a website from scratch but a whole community devoted to learning. Its like an online school for entrepreneurs of all levels.

So now I have too figure out exactly HOW I’m going to promote these products, WHERE to promote them and WHERE to send them once I get a lead. So ideally I’m going to want a way to collect their email address and name. This is all I need to start so even if I can get someone to give me their email, once that happens THEN the magic starts.

So I need a place to collect their emails so I will need an autoresponder. Their are several out their all with pros and cons but for this exercise I will just use GetResponse as I already have an account with them and they are reasonably priced.

So today I was hoping to get a bit further on the graphic side. Not too worry as I absolutely suck at graphic designing. As a matter of fact I really wouldn’t know where too start so in this sort of scenario I can do one of two things. One, spend the next 3 months learning graphic design and still not be an expert or … go find and hire someone who will probably do a much better job than I will ever do and have the job done in a few days as opposed too months or in some cases NEVER!

OK heres my first MAJOR GRIPE

So many people get into this line of work because they have this erroneous belief that they can start earning an absolute fortune by putting $0 into this “BUSINESS”. I have to ask, how many “business’s” do you know that don’t put any money or purchase any tools needed to run their business. If a business has even moderate success you can guarantee that the business had money “invested” into it so that “more money” would come out. You CANNOT make a FORTUNE if you don’t put any MONEY into your business. It just doesn’t make CENTS. And if you do make money it will probably be drip fed and awfully slow, painfully slow. So slow you will more than likely give up frustrated and broke because you didn’t even make the money to pay for your auto-responder, your software and your platform or web-hosting. You actually end up broke.

But if you set your “business” up the right way, the way that leads to sales and success, then the world changes for you and all your dreams suddenly become a reality. I intend to create an e-book from all this info I’m compiling and am now contemplating a membership site where anyone who wants to learn the ropes from a newbies eyes, or even the seasoned veteran may pick up some new ideas, (these are happening all the time) then this could be for you or someone you know. All I want is too help people find their way too. Maybe you’ve never made any money and you just want to “see” if it’s possible. Or maybe your well on the way and your looking to 10X your company.

Tomorrow I will continue but tonight it’s time too crawl into bed. Its actually nearly 2am here in New Zealand so it really is time for me to crash. Normally I don’t like staying up late but sometimes you just get that urge, that drive that sez keep going, so thats why I’m still up. Oh well, I will publish this then put a quick note on our Facebook Page about the above info and take it from their, tomorrows another day. And talk a bit about goals and how important this aspect is too success. And add some pictures. Haha, it never ends.
